Traditional smallholding/stock farm sells near Cleobury Mortimer, attracting strong interest

Robert Parry was instructed to offer The Leasowes, Tenbury Road, Cleobury Mortimer for sale in August. The property had been unoccupied for several years and included a quaint cottage in need of restoration, probably a total rebuild, together with a timber framed Dutch barn, two steel framed barns and general purpose building/ cubicle shed.

The farm extended to 23.59 acres and had been previously used to accommodate a milking or suckler cow herd over the years. The Leasowes offered great scope to redevelop a traditional smallholding with potential for the creation of a new dwelling in an elevated position overlooking part of Worcestershire and Shropshire (subject to planning). It was offered for sale by formal tender and attracted a keen and strong interest and some very competitive tenders, selling well over the guide price.
