G Herbert Banks welcome Nick Jethwa as Associate Partner

The partners are delighted to announce that Nick Jethwa has recently joined the team bringing with him vast experience of the property market. Nick is well known in the area having been in the industry for almost 30 years, working for both regional and national firms of Chartered Surveyors. More recently asset managing a wide range of property by developing and repositioning these to optimise value and maximise returns. In Worcestershire he has been involved in the regeneration of well known assets, but further afield his work has included an office park in Wakefield, restoration of a Capability Brown Landscape in Oxfordshire and redevelopment in Devon

Nick is a Chartered Surveyor and a RICS Registered Valuer. In his role he advises on the acquisition, management and sale of property, providing professional (‘RICS ‘Red Book’) valuations and surveys (Level 2 : Home Buyer Reports). Nick is a member of several panels allowing him to conduct valuations for a wide variety of lenders and has worked as an expert witness.

We are thrilled to add Nick’s personality and skills set to the business. He will be doing more than bolstering our position in the market and we aim to increase our involvement in commercial property, as well as our valuation and surveying side of the business.

Locally Nick sits on the ReWyre Board with Wyre Forest District Council and continues to work on the Kidderminster Future for High Streets project, which has been successful in attaining a £20.5m regeneration grant. He is also a member of Stourport Forward and sat for several years as a Governor at Stourport High School. In his spare time he is a keen rower at Stourport Boat Club.
