Archie joins G Herbert Banks commercial property team

G Herbert Banks is pleased to welcome Archie Tompson to its growing Commercial Property team.

Archie joins the firm after working for a utility surveying business. There, he gained experience across compensation and utility projects involving agricultural, commercial and residential land. As a result, he developed a strong understanding of the property sector and the needs of landowners and businesses.

However, Archie was keen to broaden his experience and build a career in commercial property. Therefore, he joined G Herbert Banks to work on a wider range of property matters and develop his professional expertise.

Local knowledge and strong community connections

As a local resident, Archie has strong ties to the area and excellent connections within the local community. Consequently, he brings valuable local knowledge and an understanding of the regional property market.

These connections help him understand the challenges and opportunities facing property owners, landlords and businesses across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties.

Combining study with practical experience

Alongside his role at G Herbert Banks, Archie is studying for a property degree through a degree apprenticeship programme.

His studies provide a pathway towards qualification with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He is due to complete the programme in 2028.

Meanwhile, the apprenticeship allows him to combine academic learning with practical industry experience. As a result, he is developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in commercial property.

Archie joins the expanding Commercial Property team led by Nick Jethwa.

The appointment follows continued growth in commercial agency and property management instructions. Therefore, the firm has invested in additional resource to maintain high levels of service and support future growth.
